Tucked away in a quieter corner of Petaling Jaya’s bustling Seksyen 1, this noodle spot serves up a variety of Chinese noodle dishes that lean towards unpretentious and comforting. The menu covers a good range—from dry pan mee with a mix of minced meat and anchovies to vegetarian options like a curry laksa broth packed with tofu and vegetables. Those looking for lighter bites can also find fried tofu and fish balls with a Thai twist, making it a casual place to explore simple, familiar flavors with a slight local touch.
On a typical visit, the atmosphere is straightforward and casual, with a mix of counter and table seating that encourages solo diners as well as small groups. It’s not wheelchair accessible, and parking can be a bit of a challenge during busy times, reflecting its neighborhood charm rather than a polished mall experience. The space has been renovated to include air conditioning, which some may find a bit brisk, but overall it keeps the vibe comfortable and clean.
The crowd here seems to include those who appreciate noodles that aren’t overly strong in seasoning—mild and subtle flavors that feel like a gentle nod to traditional home cooking rather than heavy-handed spice. It’s the kind of spot where you might come seeking a quiet breakfast, a quick lunch, or a casual dinner without fuss. Coffee and simple desserts round out the options, making it a reasonable stop if you want something easy-going but heartening in this part of town.

4 If recalled correctly, this is the first shop (?) they branched out from Seremban. Since then, they have opened a few more branches in shopping malls, etc. This restaurant has also gone through renovation, became air conditioned (too cold), more choices, and varieties of noodles and rices. Somehow we liked it better previously, the good old mince pork noodle that this restaurant is famous for.
4 Their signature dish - Dry Lo C Fun - i find it okay. Suitable for those who prefer mild taste when comes to food. I personally prefer dishes with stronger flavor. Cham Ice is pretty tasty. Overall good service by aunties there and clean outlet to visit.
4 There are quite a number of noodle dishes to choose from here. No rice though. The menu definitely feels quite clutter from how they display the info. Laksa was different from the usual KL pj curry mee in a good way with lotsa wantan skin, fishball, eggs etc. My dry loh shu fun with pork stomach soup was alright. The soup isn't strong peppery but there are alot of pork stomach. The dry loh shu fun is alittle plain but pairing it with the green chilli and sambal helped
4 Had the yi Poh super value meal... Very good for the price .. the Thai taufu ( crispy on the outside with soft centre ) n wanton freshly fried . The pork tendon ball ....ginger bits n peppery. Will definitely revisit
4 all good but food portion are getting smaller and harder to find parking during peak hours.
4 Chinese Noodle style homemade. First time i've try dry noodle like this, Super creamy and tasty Reasonable price Service good Clean and relax Vibe And i'll back again if got the chance.
4 Located at PJ old town, the shophouse is clean and has good vibe. Food is good and service is fast. Love the old charm of the area.
4 Corner shop, Indoor dining with spacious space. Variety choice of food to be ordered. 2 set of menu books available, 1 for ALA carte, 1 for set menu. I tried the pig stomach noodle soup and also the lousufan soup. Food was good. Also ordered a set of toast bread with drinks (teh c). Lovely .
The signature Dry Lo C Fun and the old mince pork noodle are popular choices. Many also enjoy the crispy Thai tofu and pork tendon balls.
Yi Poh offers a casual setting with quick counter and table service, ideal for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.
Peak hours can make parking a challenge, so visiting outside typical meal times may offer a quieter experience.
The restaurant accommodates both groups and solo diners comfortably in its casual environment.
Yi Poh does not have wheelchair accessible entrances, seating, or parking available.
They accept debit and credit cards as well as NFC mobile payments for convenience.
